You may pay through your financial institution online or in-person.
- Ensure payment is made early enough to avoid late penalties.
- Banks typically require two to three business days to process payments.
- The Canada Day holiday at the beginning of July may also delay processing.
Important:
- Banks do not accept the Home Owner Grant; claim this through the Province of B.C.
- Financial institutions do not accept post-dated cheques.
When paying through online banking:
- Ensure you are paying West Kelowna Taxes, not West Kelowna Utilities.
- Allow enough time for payment to reach us before the due date which is always the first business day of July.
- Search WEST KELOWNA as the payee, select TAXES.
- Enter your 11-digit account number; this is your roll/folio number at the top right-hand corner of the tax notice, starting with the jurisdiction number which is 364 (no spaces, decimals, or dashes).
Please note: If you pay taxes through a mortgage company, ensure the amount is paid in full by the due date.
