How do assessments impact taxes?

BC Assessment establishes property values and issues notices in January.

The City of West Kelowna sets tax rates and issues property tax notices in late April/early May.

Although these are two separate processes, assessments have an impact on property taxes. To learn more, please view:

How do I appeal my assessment?

You cannot appeal your property taxes; however, you can appeal your assessment by contacting the BC Assessment Authority:
